TEXAS COAST BOAT & OUTDOOR SHOW

The 2012 Texas Coast Boat Show presented a great opportunity for buyers on the Gulf Coast to experience a real Boat Show in Galveston.

With live music and glorious weather providing a great backdrop across the 3 days of the show visitors enjoyed the opportunity to sit, relax and drink a “cold one” while contemplating which of the many boats on display they should buy.

It really was quite an event, Saturday was buzzing and the National Tri-Hull Powerboat Championship proved a huge hit on Saturday and Sunday.

Huge crowds filled viewing areas to capacity as the two day APBA sanctioned races produced some dramatic action, with racers literally flying by on the water, and great commentary creating plenty of excitement for the crowds at this first time event in Galveston.

The awards presentation was another hit with the crowds as Cory Walker was named the overall winner.  Yes, the National Tri-Hull Powerboat Championship was a huge success and will return in 2013. On that note, plans are already under way for next year’s Boat Show, along with the opportunity to introduce an incredible weekend of Extreme Watersports!

Input from boat dealers, brokers and vendors will help to shape a new layout for 2013, which will only increase the enjoyment of those attending the Show looking for a particular type of vessel, product, service or accessory.

It is good to report that the headline in the Galveston Daily News read “Boatloads of Success” so we are looking forward to creating another great event for Galveston in 2013!
